Why hire a GC?
Building a home can be a daunting task. Plenty have people are successful as owner-builders, but taking on your own project often ends up meaning higher cost, longer delays, and most importantly unnecessary headaches during what should be an enjoyable process. Whether we are able to help build your dream home or not, we would highly recommend hiring a GC for your custom home.

How much will it cost?
Hiring a GC will typically cost you anywhere from 15-25% of the project cost no matter the pricing structure of your GC. Be weary of hidden fees and extras the lower the fee is. Like everything we do, our fee structure is completely transparent. Our standard fee is 20% of the approved project budget cost with a project specific overage allowance.

How long does a custom home take to build?
This is one of the most commonly asked questions and one of the hardest to answer. Permitting can take 1-2 months after your final plans are prepared. Once permitted you should plan a minimum 8 month build process for a custom home. Keep in mind that timeframe can grow quickly depending on scope, site condition, weather, product availability, client deliverables, etc.

Do we need an interior designer?
This is a service we highly recommend if your budget allows. Many people have absolutely no problems building their home without the help of an interior designer, but there are many benefits. From making sure you are on top of your selections to seamlessly integrating a coordinated look and feel throughout your home, an interior designer can be a great asset to your build.

No problem! We can connect you with one of our amazing architects. We have worked extensively with our network of architects and we are always excited to embark on another project with them.
